I am always telling my children to slow down.
Teaching school, I have noticed it is easier to not each lunch, because I need to be able to relax when I eat. I only get 30 minutes for lunch before the next group of kids show up, so usually I just relax and read.
But being the last one to finish eating has it advantages. You can finish in peace and eat a bite from the pan when no one is looking. Then when everyone is starving in an hour, you can say things like "how can you be hungry, you just ate." "I'm still full." And other such assorted comments.
Thanks for starting your website. It is so nice to look up my favorite recipes when I am on the road or visiting with family and need to do some cooking. Yeah!!
Thanks, Debbie Lichfield
St. Johns, AZAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
